Based at the University of California, Los Angeles Luskin School of Public Affairs, we investigate how gendered racism shapes mental health inequities in the lives of Black girls. Through rigorous research, advocacy, and community engagement,
we aim to amplify marginalized voices and foster meaningful change.
We are located at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and operate in a hybrid format. Most programming can be conducted virtually.
We recruit research assistants on a rolling basis based on availability and need. Each academic year, new research assistants are likely to be added to the team.
No, all students are welcome to join GRAMH.
We add Black girls from high school across the U.S. on our participatory action research team on a rolling basis. Participation can be virtual if you are not located in LA. If you are interested, please email gramhresearch@gmail.com.
